The Role
As Sous Chef at La Vue, you’ll work closely with our Head Chef to maintain our high standards and help drive our culinary vision forward. This role offers the perfect blend of creativity and leadership, allowing you to contribute to menu development while mentoring junior kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Head Chef in menu planning and daily kitchen operations
- Ensure consistent food quality and presentation across all services
- Lead and inspire our kitchen team during service
- Manage inventory, costing, and supplier relationships
- Uphold our strict food safety and hygiene standards
- Oversee kitchen operations during Head Chef’s absence
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in fine dining restaurants
- Strong background in French cuisine and modern Australian cooking
- Formal culinary qualification or equivalent experience
- Current food safety certification
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- Strong communication skills
Working Hours & Conditions
- Full-time position
- Evening and weekend availability essential
- Split shifts with structured breaks
- Consecutive days off where possible

We pride ourselves on delivering a magical dining experience with a European-inspired menu and stunning views of the Brisbane River and Story Bridge.
Position: Waitstaff
Responsibilities:
- Provide impeccable service to our guests in a fine dining setting
- Take orders and serve food and beverages with precision and flair
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment

Requirements:
