Dining experience matches the lovely river views First of all the location right on theBrisbane River in the CBD is lovely and easily accessible. Thea la carte menu offers good choices and the service is professional and friendly at the same time. We enjoyed our meals and will certainly return. We attended La Vue on Sunday for the first time and will definitely be back. The food and view were phenomenal, and there wasn’t a single meal that came out to our large party that anyone had any complaints about. The scallops for entrée and duck for main were the favourites, although it was tough competition as everything was absolutely delicious. A wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely exquisite. For main courses, we had the prawns, which were incredibly delicious with a perfectly balanced combination of flavours, and a beef dish cooked exactly to perfection—tender, juicy, and beautifully prepared. For dessert, we ordered profiteroles filled with rich chocolate and served with ice cream. The portion was very generous, and every bite was a real delight. The service from the two waitresses was absolutely impeccable. They were warm, attentive, and very friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. In addition, the view of the Story Bridge is simply beautiful, and the restaurant’s interior is cosy, warm, and very inviting. I will definitely be coming back many more times.
