I've travelled widely, and this outstanding restaurant ranks in the top three I've eaten at anywhere in the world. Hands down the best restaurant in Brisbane. Sensational. The meat especially was amazingly cooked. I had three courses and none disappointed. The pork belly separated at a touch of the fork. Likewise the duck confit. I asked for the restaurant signature dessert and the creme brûlée and ice cream were superb.

Then there was the service. Most of the staff seemed to sport a French accent and they were truly lovely.. happy to discuss the menu or drinks at your discretion.  They seemed to be in attendance when they were necessary and in the background when not.. that's more difficult than it sounds.

And of course the view.. well that's in the name of the place and pretty cool too. Good on the council for mixing up the colours of the lights on the bridge.

It was a great night for talking and laughing.. supported well by the restaurant.

Prices?  I think we spent mid 7s for five of us for three course dinner and drinks.

We had such a wonderful experience at La Vue Waterfront Restaurant! The food was absolutely amazing — beautifully prepared, delicious, and full of flavour. Everything was fantastic from start to finish.

We had foie gras and quail for entree, absolutely delicious.

For main course,duck a l'orange and the lamb, both amazing. The Lamb sauce was incredible!

For dessert we shared the profiteroles, delicious!!!

All these with the beautiful view of the story bridge!

A special mention to Chef Ronaldo, the owner, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and such an amazing host. His passion for the restaurant and genuine care for his guests really made our experience even more special.
It’s not often you find a place with both exceptional food and such warm hospitality. We truly enjoyed our time at La Vue and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful dining experience in Brisbane. We’ll definitely be back! ❤️
