Booking Policy – La Vue Waterfront Restaurant
At La Vue Waterfront Restaurant, we are committed to providing a high-quality dining experience. To ensure smooth operations and fairness for all guests, the following booking policy applies to all reservations.
Deposit Requirement

All bookings require a $100 deposit at the time of reservation.

This deposit is applied toward your final bill on the day of dining.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking time will forfeit the deposit.

No-shows (failure to attend without cancellation) will also result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Changes to Booking

If you wish to modify your booking (e.g., change time, date, or number of guests), please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. We will do our best to accommodate changes, subject to availability.
Refunds

Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made within 24 hours or for no-shows.

For cancellations made more than 24 hours prior, the deposit may be refunded or transferred to a future booking, at the discretion of La Vue Restaurant.
Australian Consumer Law Compliance
This policy is compliant with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). Under ACL, businesses are entitled to set fair terms for cancellations and no-shows. Our non-refundable deposit policy reflects the genuine cost and impact of late cancellations or no-shows on our operations.
